1.DRIVER REQUIREMENTS 

• Minimum age: 25 years
• Valid driving license (Category B) held for at least 2 years
• Only the drivers listed in the contract are authorized to drive 

 

2. Booking & Payment

• A booking is confirmed after payment of the agreed advance (30% of the rental price).
• The balance must be paid no later than 14 days before departure.
• Failure to pay on time may result in cancellation without refund of the advance.

 

3. Deposit

• A €1,500 deposit is required at pick-up (credit card block or bank transfer).
• This covers possible damage, missing equipment, cleaning, fuel shortage, or late return.
• If the camper is returned in good condition, the deposit will be refunded within 14 days, minus any costs.

 

4. Insurance & Liability

• The camper is fully insured for liability, fire, theft, damage, and broken glass (windshields, windows, skylights), subject to the policy terms.
• Insurance applies only to drivers 25+ years old listed in the contract.
• The renter is responsible for the deductible (up to the deposit amount).
• Damage caused by negligence, intoxication, or unauthorized drivers is fully the renter’s responsibility.
• Roadside assistance is included through VAB. In case of breakdown or immobilization, the renter must contact VAB immediately and follow their instructions. Costs not covered by VAB (e.g. due to negligence or prohibited use) remain the renter’s responsibility.
• The insurance is valid throughout Europe and also specifically covers:
  Serbia, Morocco, Turkey, Switzerland, Tunisia, United Kingdom, Azerbaijan, and Albania.

 

5. Use of the Camper

• The camper may only be used within the countries covered by the insurance (see Article 4).
• Mountain travel (high-altitude roads, alpine passes, steep gradients, or unpaved mountain tracks) is not permitted.
• Smoking inside the camper is strictly prohibited.
• The renter is responsible for fines, tolls, and traffic violations during the rental.
• Subletting or transporting illegal goods is not allowed.
• Usage of fyer, microwave, etc is prohibited.

 

6. Pick-up & Return

• A condition report will be made at pick-up and return.
• The camper must be returned:
  
  • With a full fuel tank
  • Clean inside, with empty waste tanks
  • On the agreed date, time, and place
• Extra charges apply for late return, insufficient cleaning, or missing items.

 

7. Cancellation Policy

• Cancellation 30–59 days before departure → full refund minus €150 admin fee
• Cancellation 15–29 days before departure → 50% refund of rental price
• Cancellation 14 days or less before departure → no refund

 

8. Cancellation Insurance (Optional)

• At the time of booking, the renter can choose to take out Cancellation Insurance with our partner insurance company.
• This insurance is separate from the rental contract and subject to the insurer’s conditions.
• It generally covers situations such as:
  
  • Serious illness, accident, or death of the renter or close family member
  • Major damage to the renter’s home shortly before departure
  • Official summons (court duty, jury service, etc.)
  • Other force majeure events recognized by the insurer
• In case of cancellation, the renter must contact the insurer directly and provide the required documents (e.g. medical certificate, police/fire report).
• Without this insurance, the standard cancellation policy (Article 7) applies.

 

9. Applicable Law

• This contract is governed by Belgian law.
• Any disputes will be handled by the competent court of [your business location].
